About the artist

Internationally published artist Fiona Peart is well known for working in watercolour and various water-soluble media.

Having lived in Africa, the Middle East and Europe this popular artist has been influenced and inspired over the years developing her unique painting style.

 

She studied full time drawing and watercolour at the Flemish Academy of Fine Art in Leuven Belgium, successfully graduating and being awarded the 'best achievement' prize in 1990. This led to her exhibiting in various Galleries including The Mall Galleries in London.

 

Aspiring to more, Fiona went on to achieve an adult teaching qualification enabling her to effectively communicate her passion for painting with others in an informative and entertaining way.

Having now written 8 practical art books, the first entitled 30 minute Watercolours, was published by Harper Collins and has sold out, the following seven are published by Search Press. Her latest title 'Painting Flowers in Watercolour for the Absolute Beginner' iwas published in April 2023.
 

Previously teaching in South Korea, and Europe, Fiona continues to paint and teach, she has a FaceBook page @easywatercolour Instagram 'peartartist' and a Youtube channel devoted to demonstrations, she offers workshops in the UK, inspiring others to achieve their own success.
